When I use lip-stick I tend to think my lips get dry and look blass, so I always put a little lip-gloss on top to make them “sparkle”. Yves Saint Lauret has managed to put both of these into one – should be moisturizing like a leppomade and rich as a gloss! The product comes in six colours, that are all a little transparent;

TIME TO SHINE

Now, you can put on shiny make-up like gold, silver and bronze. You can put on eyeshadow over the whole eye, or just in the outer-corner.  You can put on some shiny lipstick or you can just cover your body in shiny bodylotion.

Don’t exaggerate it! Focus on one area; if you use glittery eyeshadow, let your skin be matte and drop the most sparkly lipstick you own. You don’t want to look like a christmas-tree.

Iwant to show you how I looked at the Cheerleading-christmasshow. We took glitterglue, and then put normal glitter on top, and it looked like this. I actually liked it;

NAILPOLISH

This fall nail polish colors are darker and deeper. They range from neutral earth tones for glamorous metallic colors.

 

A matte gray color is one of the most trendy colors for nails this fall. Other winners are neutral colours like cream caramel, khaki and beige. The muted earth colours are perfect for everyday, but also cool for parties.

Deep berry colours are also an important part of autums colour palette, both in clothing and in nailpolish. It is one of the darkest colours to come this season, they are subtile, but at the same time is an eye-catcher. If you think these ones are to dark, you can choose a purple colour with a little more gray in it.

Autumn is not only full of neutrals and matte colours; shiny metallic colours are also in the wind. It´s a good option if you´re going to a party

or just want a little glamour in your everyday life. Gold, silver, purple and rust are colours that recur in this trend.

 

My daily make-up

I don´t wear a lot of make-up, cuz I want to look as natural as possible.

I use a little bit of eyebrow-liner to make my brows stand out a bit. I don´t feel like buying an expensive liner, cuz I wear so little, so this one from H&M is perfect.

Ah, Complexion Perfection from e.l.f is genius. I use it under and over my blush. If my skin is kind of “shiny” I use it, and it makes my makeup stay on longer, if I´m wearing foundation too.

I´m pale.. sooo pale, so I always have to use some colour in my face. I use Pure Blush Mineral from Maybelline, and it gives me a very natural result.

At special occasions I put on some mascara, and maybe some eyeshadow, and I´m ready to go. I don´t like dark, lumpy and long lashes, so Great Lash Mascara from Maybelline is perfect.

Light or dark brows?

Dark brows;

1. - Are you naturally endowed with powerful eyebrows it’s probably what suits you best. But that doesn’t mean you can’t pick out wild hairs and let them look neat.
2. – If you’re going for the dark eyebrows, red lips makes the look elegant and classic. Red lips are in now, so it will make the look complete
3. – If you want them really dark, remember not to use too much make-up –  go for a light and fresh make-up to compensate for the dark and heavy brows.

Light brows;

1. - This look fits a light and harmonic make-up – a soft look.
2. - If you have a big forehead this is not the look for you, cuz light brows makes the forehead look bigger.

I’m personally a big fan of dark eyebrows, and I actually think people with bleached eyebrows look like aliens(not always off course). Dark brows are wearable everywhere, school or party, while light ones are kind of… catwalk style(in my opinion).

I have the X-factor!

I’m in… I got through the first round of auditions. I’m still shaking – I’m so happy. On monday, the next audition awaits. I had to try two times; the first time the judges were playing cellphone games or something and didn’t send me further, but the second time I went to other judges. They said that my performance was one of the best today.  HALLELUJAH.

Colours for your eyes

Don’t know which colour you should use for your eyes? Using contrasting colors, the color of the eyes become more intense. Here is some guidelines:

If you have a bright green and blue-green eye colour you can highlight with colours with a red tone. Colours like that might be purple,  coppertones, apricot and warm browntones. If the colours are golden, that is nice too.

If you have blue eyes, like me, you can use colours with an orange tone. Orange is a complementary to blue, so this will highlight your eyes. Make-up in colours like orange, brown, champagne, bronze and gold is something you need to have.

Brown eyes? Lucky you, you can use almost anything. Brown has a little of every complimentary colours there is, and therefore a lot of colours makes brown eyes shine. The best ones are; different purple tones, green, turquoise, dark-blue, gold and other metallic colours.

If you have multicoloured eyes, you should focus on the colour that is most dominant and go from there.

I use my eye-colour also when I’m looking for clothes. I feel that my eyes are the most important thing on my body, and I always want them to look good. My eyes are the two things on my body I love the most.

haven’t found the perfect foundation yet?

I was not a big fan of creamy/liquid foundation, because I couldn’t get it to look natural. I have been using mineral make-up for a long time, but before the holiday there was nothing left. I needed a cheap foundation, and then I saw one on sale for just 100NOK.  The one I found was from Declarè Switzerland; I have changed my mind about creamy foundations now. This one is amazingly easy to apply and it is oil-free in addition to that it has a great hold. It looks so natural, and that is exactly what I want when I try foundations.

My mother uses creams and other products from Declarè and is  super happy about it!  You should look at their page here, and then you should run to the nearest make-up store and try it out.
